Thank You Sarah Palin! I Apologize on Behalf of Those Who Won’t!

July 10, 2009

MICHAEL JACKSON, MICHAEL JACKSON, MICHAEL JACKSON

There, now I’ll probably get 1,000,000 hits to this article in the next 5 minutes.

As everyone is aware by now, Gov. Palin has announced her desire to leave the office of Governor of Alaska.  Since the moment she made this announcement I have been tortured by commentators discussing this matter with phrases like, “what does this mean?”  “If she can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen,”  “this will help her run for President in 2012,” “this will kill her chances for President in 2012,” “she will likely run for Senator,” “maybe there is truth to the ethics violations.”  AAAAHHHH!!!

Republicans and Democrats–SHAME ON YOU!  Let’s review for a minute what has happened.  In the middle of the election process a doomed candidate for the Republican party chooses an actual real-life conservative to run with him on a “conservative” platform.  John McCain chooses Sarah Palin.  She is an instant overnight sensation.  The media begins by talking about how great she is and how she connects with “real” people.  (I guess McCain connected with the “fake” ones).

She begins to give enthusiastic and inspiring speechs talking about an America that we all love where Government stays out of our lives and taxes are lowered and spending is responsible.  She talks about protection for the unborn and gun ownership and entrepreneurship and living an American Dream free of bailouts and National Health Care.  She decimates Joe Biden in a debate despite being the more inexperienced politician.

She willingly and unselfishly gives of herself to the Republican Party in an effort to stop the Country’s slide into certain socialism.  She takes time away from her family and her life in Alaska to tour the Country–even beyond what the Party expected her to do.

And then…

The media, fearing that she might actually dethrone the Obamamessiah and vault McCain to victory begins an all-out assault.  They attack her non-Ivy league education, her lack of foreign policy experience, her comments about seeing Russia from the shore of Alaska, her daughter’s pregnancy, her folksy way of talking.  They call her stupid and ridiculous and cartoonish.  They unscrupulously and grotesquely go for her throat–why?  Because they knew and still know that she is dangerous.  The Democrats know that even if she never runs again, if she campaigns for others, she is a force to be reckoned with.  And so the assualts continue.

The election is over, but that is not enough, the media and the Democrats seek to put her under the ground.  The attacks continue.  Overpaid nuts like David Letterman attack her 14 year old daughter–and the media let’s it go.  But remember, when Obama said kids are “off the table” for attack during the campaign, the media said “you betcha.”

Then ridiculous ethics attacks from Democrats in Alaska surface making issues out of which office she may have given an interview.  And so…for whatever reason–which doesn’t matter by the way…she steps down.

Where are the Republicans?  Where is John McCain?  Where is anyone to defend her?  And now, commentator after commentator takes the few spare moments in between wiping the tears over Michael Jackson’s death to continue the assault.  She gave everything she could to the Republican Party–for who you ask?  For you and me.  Whatever you think of her, she believes in this Country, she believes in Freedom and she gave of herself in service to America–not because she loves John McCain or the Republicans but because she loves America.

So for those yellow-backed, myopic Republicans that don’t have the guts to say it–I apologize on their behalf for their foolish, insensitive behavior toward you and your family and their unwillingness to step up to your defense.  And as for me personally…

Thank you for your service to this Country so far and I hope and pray, that despite the wounds and the attacks, you will find a way to continue to serve us in the future.  But if you don’t, I understand and thank you for inspiring me and others to once again discover true conservative values and ideas.

Republicans for Obama? I Don’t Hardly Think So.

October 14, 2008

Seriously?  This is absolutely laughable.  The media has already elected Obama as you know.  Tom Brokaw gave an interview two days ago where he said that McCain’s campaign was disorganized and in disarray.  Wouldn’t he hope that were true?

The media along with the Obama camp have really worked hard to elect the most liberal and socialist driven man to the highest office of our Country that has ever run for the job (excluding some individuals who have run under the American Communist party).

As soon as McCain starts to gain ground in the polls, the media says he is finished.  Obama has accused McCain of being Bush #3, which is an outright lie and has joked about the attacks on his credibility associating with terrorists and radical leftists.  And now….as the election draws near, we are to believe that there are actual Republicans who are willing to wear this button.

I’m sorry–I cry foul here.

What is a Republican?

A person who believes in the Republic form of government–the form where the supreme power rests with the people, not the government.  Anyone who actually believes these principles would not vote for Obama-who clearly believes that the government should exercise ultimate authority over every aspect of our lives.

So stop fooling us–we are not idiots.  No REAL republican wears this pin–it is meant to freak us out.

But wait…My crack team of investigators begs to differ–Believe it or not, we have found other similar organizations–so maybe I’m wrong about this.  Here they are:

1.  Christians For The Devil

2.  Mets Fans For The Yankees

3.  Wine Lovers For Mad Dog 20/20

4.  Redskins For The Cowboys

5.  Trial Lawyers for Big Corporations

6.  Dogs for Cats

7.  Jews for Muslims

8.  Ahmadinejad For Gays

9.  Sharks for Vegetables

10.  Hindus For Steak

So, I guess maybe it is possible that these people exist.

My bad.

Sarah Palin is a Major Hit-But No Community Organizing Experience

September 4, 2008

I must admit, I was very skeptical of John McCain’s choice for VP last week.  Skeptical because frankly I knew very little about Ms. Palin.  I did not know about her popularity in Alaska, or her children or her husband or her roots, her beliefs, her intelligence, her patriotism or her conservatism.  In recent days I have read numerous articles about Ms. Palin–some are neutral pieces about who she is, many were hit pieces about her daughter and her husband’s DWI when Regan was in office and her alleged “scandal” involving the firing of a government employee.  What I had determined before last night is that she is a tough, no-nonsense person struggling to live in a broken world while maintaining her own integrity, morals and convictions.  She is likeable, smart and accomplished.  But…could she ever be ready to lead a Country from an office where she is literally a heartbeat away from the Presidency?

If you missed it–here is a clip of 9 minutes of highlights from her amazing speech:

She was nothing short of awesome.  I think my favorite part of the speech was comparing her mayoral experience to that of a community organizer.  Here is the quote:

“I guess a small-town mayor is sort of like a ‘community organizer,’ except that you have actual responsibilities.”

For an EXCELLENT review of Obama’s “community organizer” roots, I highly recommend you read an article from the blog: THE CONFLUENCE.  Frankly–it is scary to see the methods he used to bring “hope” and “change.”
Here is one of his community development housing projects today:

Lovely.

His only “real” accomplishment on the South side of Chicago is forcing the government to test for asbestos.  And for that he should be congratulated.  But as for transforming the south side of Chicago with affordable housing and jobs–he gets an “F.”

Look here:

What a beautiful playground for the children to use.  See them sliding down the pretty slide and singing and playing?  You don’t–well put on the glasses of hope and change and see if it comes into view then.

You would think that the citizens of this community would vote McCain after seeing that Obama took campaign contributions from Tony Rezko while Rezko was allowing citizens in Obama’s district to live in squallor and not pay their electricity bills or heating bills.  But alas, they appear to be lining up to praise and support a man who simply has no ability to lead and no actual vision for the future.

As Gov. Palin said–Obama is a man who uses “change” to further his career, McCain is a man who uses his career to bring about “change.”  The choice is clear.

Obama: The $4 million dollar Hypocrite.

August 22, 2008

So today the news is all a-buzz with Obama’s latest strategy–attacking McCain because he did not answer a question about how many houses he owned.  (See Obama Count’s McCain’s Houses) So, I suppose challenging McCain on the issues such as the war or the mortgage crisis or the gas prices or the economy or global warming–all seems trite compared to attacking him because he is rich.  Demonizing him because he has a lot of assets.

That is rich!  (Hey that is kind of a pun–I so amuse myself)

This from a man who just purchased a home for $1.6 million dollars and made over $4 million last year.  This from a man who claims that McCain is out of touch with the “regular American.”  I suppose the regular American makes $4 million per year?  Seriously.

But wait, what did Obama say about personal attacks in a campaign?  What was that…….?  Oh yeah, just 2 days before the comment about the houses, and fresh off of his week-long vacation in Hawaii, Obama said it was time for McCain to “end personal attacks.”  My what can change in 2 days!

ABC news was all over this–hoping and praying I’m sure that this “gaffe” by McCain will end his chances for the white house.

Notice the bottom of the screen “McCain’s Housing Crisis”–that was on there the entire broadcast regarding this story.  But, ABC is not biased.  What a silly accusation.

But wait–there are other issues Obama should jump on that would be so much more effective.  Here at MKCB  I’d like to do my part in assisting the Obama campaign with their non-personal attacks–here are my suggestions for some sound-bites to assist in the campaign:

1.  He obviously isn’t much of a fighter since he was in prison so dang long in Vietnam.

2.  He’s not just old, but he’s damn-old.

3.  He is white, ’nuff said.

4.  I know James Garner, and you Sen. McCain are no James Garner.

5.  McCain adopted a daughter from an orphanage in a veiled attempt to cow-tail to Catholics.

I’ll see if I can come up with some more–but Obama–I suggest you use these–because the reality is, if you start trying to debate him about your socialistic view of the world–the rest of your blind followers might discover that you are in fact a socialist–something I’m sure you want to hide until you are actually in the White House.
