The “Tolerant” Left

January 22, 2014

Gov Cuomo

I don’t want to be political today but I just can’t help it. Because I am a conservative, I have been wrongfully accused of being close-minded, intolerant, racist, sexist, etc… Not because of any specific act, but simply because I am conservative. It is the left’s typical talking points. Yet, Governor Cuomo of New York has stated, in his most left-wing tolerant tone, “extreme conservatives who are right-to-life, pro-assault—weapon, anti-gay…have no place in the State of New York.” So let me reiterate for you Mr. Cuomo the way I actually think about these subjects instead of simply ignoring your idiotic comments:

Hardcore conservative

1. I am conservative. To me that means I believe in small government and the rights of the individual. I believe that people should be allowed the freedom to achieve individual success or failure on their own. I believe that individual responsibility is more important than preventative regulation. I believe that citizens can manage their lives better on their own than the government can manage it for them. I believe in a strong military and governmental fiscal responsibility. I believe that government entitlements create a citizenry of dependents who become less and less motivated to make their own way in the world. I believe that progress is not about what the government can do for our lives but about what people can do for themselves free of government interference.  I believe in a free market and an unrestricted exchange of ideas and speech.  Despite what you might think, I would fight to the death to preserve your right to make stupid comments about others.

pro-life

2.  I am unashamedly pro-life.  That means I believe that abortion in wrong.  I believe that a baby is a separate being from conception forward.  I am also very sympathetic to those who don’t intend to get pregnant, but do, but I believe in personal responsibility and that means that choices have consequences.  I believe the life of the mother is paramount and should be priority one in a rare situation where the pregnancy puts the mother at risk.  And do I stand firm on rape and incest cases (rare that they are)?  No–the honest truth is that although I think each baby becomes a baby through no fault of its own, I have a heart and would certainly not condemn a woman who made a tough decision in an extreme circumstance.  In fact, I condemn no one for the choices they make in this area–I simply believe a different way–a way that apparently is no longer tolerated in the entire State of New York.  Despite that, when given the opportunity, I’ll fight to change the law in this area–but again I’d fight to the death for you to be able to believe otherwise and express that  belief.

Gun Constitution

3.  I believe in the right to bear arms.  I believe that “gun control” is about control not about guns.  I believe that every society in history that became overtaken by a tyrant started with the removal of guns from the citizenry.  I believe that guns in the hands of bad people are a bad thing but that guns in the hands of good people are a danger to no one–except the bad people. (Charlton Heston).  I believe that ridiculous controls on the number of bullets you can put in a gun or the  number of guns you can own are infringements on  my freedoms and the freedoms of others.  I believe we could learn a lot from the Swiss on this issue.

4.  I don’t even know what you mean by “anti-gay.”  I do not believe in discrimination.  I do not believe that society should discriminate against people because of their relationship choices.  I also do not believe that relationship choices are a valid basis for creating a “protected class” of citizens.    I believe we have been created EQUALLY.  That word has a specific meaning that should not be manipulated.   I believe everyone is entitled to their moral beliefs and views on this subject and I believe that there is no constitutional right for either side of the argument to not be offended by the other’s viewpoint.   People that target aggression, discrimination and hateful actions towards someone because they are gay should suffer the criminal consequences of their actions.  Interestingly, though, taking Gov. Cuomo’s words on their face, if he means that people that personally object to the gay lifestyle should not live in New York, then he is no better than those that would harass someone simply because of their lifestyle.

I have been force-fed a mantra of talking points since the Clinton years that liberals are “tolerant,” “forgiving,” “accepting of others,” “open-minded,” and “compassionate.”  Likewise conservatives are accused of being the opposite.

Well Gov. Cuomo, by those definitions you are one heck of a conservative.  I’ve been to New York Governor, and it’s no Texas–you can keep it.

2010 Christmas Ideas From The Left: A Holly Nancy Pelosi Christmas!

November 24, 2010

Well as we arrive at Thanksgiving we stuff ourselves full of Turkey and Dressing and Cranberry Sauce and watch a little football and then wake up early to attack Black Friday.   We here at MKCB don’t want you to be out there looking around from store to store trying to find the perfect gift–we want to give you some fantastic ideas.  As you know, the left in our Country is about Hope and Change and all that is good.  Therefore, we have decided, in the Spirit of the Season, to list for you some wonderful gifts that will bring Hope and only cost a little Change.  Ho Ho Ho!

Top 5 Gift Ideas for 2010 From The Democratic Party of the Combined Union of States of America:

1.  Planned Parenthood Gift Cards

That’s right folks, surely you have that special someone on your list that, well, may need to rethink the next few months and shed that “mistake” that President Obama talked about in 2008.  Well, look no further than Planned Parenthood.

Planned Parenthood says Give the Gift of Abortion for Christmas by Albert Milliron

Yes, its true, you can give the gift of “choice” to someone who is saving up for that special decision to put “self” before others.  And while you are there don’t forget to pick up a stylish “Choice on Earth” T-Shirt.

Planned Parenthood offers ‘Choice on Earth’ T-shirts

Ahhh, tis the season.

2.  Athiest T-Shirts

Obviously it is not fair that all of these leftist atheists are left out of the gift giving and receiving at Christmas time.  But what do you buy that special anti-God someone?  Well, how about a T-Shirt that says it all:

Atheist Christmas cards

Selfishness never goes out of style.  The website this came from makes cards and T-Shirts with this friendly “cute” saying.

3.  Anti-Palin Gear

It wouldn’t be Christmas without bashing a person without reason and by making comments about her personal life that simply aren’t true.  And what better person to continue to focus your character attacks that the person responsible for energizing a large portion of the right–Sarah Palin.

No worries, the Democrats have websites with fun stuff like this:

Offensive anti Palin Christmas T-Shirts

Wouldn’t you feel classy wearing this unique and clever T-Shirt to your next Holiday party?

4.  The Incredible Shrinking Dollar

Now here is a gift that Nancy Pelosi can really be proud of–after all she is in part responsible for manufacturing this wonderful item of joy.  Now you can give your loved ones that same joy with the “Incredible Shrinking Dollar”–and you don’t even have to loan billions of dollars to China to make it work.

5.  This Day in Revisionist History

Written by top Democratic operatives, er… I mean leaders, you can now give your kids the book they have all been waiting for–a history book that tells history the way it should have occurred, not the silly stupid way it actually happened.  In this book you will find tales of how the Republicans pushed for more slavery and caused the Civil War, you will hear about how the 80’s were a decade of greed and how President Reagan had nothing to do with the fall of Communism.  You will also get a special bonus section that details the hundreds of amazing successes of the Carter administration.  This is a history book your family is sure to treasure for years to come.

Have a great Black Friday (named by the Republicans who are racist by nature) and Merry Chri…um..Xmas!

Obama’s Mother’s “Punishment” May Be On To Something.

April 3, 2008

Well, by now every Pro-Life and conservative blog has written about this–and typical of me, I’m weighing in a little late.  Our beloved Democratic nominee for President–you know the one that has an African heritage but despite his claims to the contrary is not a descendant of slaves–he stated yesterday that he would not want his daughters to be “punished with a baby or an STD” if they made a “mistake.”  (Click this link–great conservative site)

 See for yourself:

So, one thing is clear, when the magic man starts speaking off of his canned well written speech, he gets himself into trouble because his true ultra-left wing positions become more clear.  Notice how quickly he corrects himself when he accidentally says “Abstinence only”–ha ha ha.  But I digress…

Obviously Barack Obama, despite his strong Christian values as taught to him by Rev. Wright, is Pro-Choice and always has been.  But let’s look a little deeper into his idea that the Government should take an active role in protecting teenage girls that decide to have sex.  And please folks–let’s leave the moral discussion about pre-marital sex aside for the moment–I can only tackle one issue at a time after all I am a MAN!

What if the Government provided Super-Condoms and other Devices to protect us from other “punishments?”  Wouldn’t that be great?  For Example:

1.  DRUNK DRIVING

Is this fair?  Should we have to live with the “punishment” of innocent victims, mangled limbs and a wrecked vehicle just because we decide to “have a little fun?”  After all, if I make a “mistake” I don’t want to be “punished” with a record, guilt for those I’ve injured and a wrecked vehicle.  Maybe instead the government could mandate that we drive our cars around in giant condoms the size of balloons:

That way we would be protected from such nonsense.  Or…

2.  FREEBASING COCAINE

Is it fair that I should have to suffer the “punishment” of life-long burns and the gulit of killing others and maybe burning down a low-rent apartment complex simply because I made the “mistake” of freebasing a little cocaine once in a while.  I mean seriously–that seems harsh.  So maybe, since we know people are going to do drugs anyway, the Government could mandate that if you live in a poverty-ridden, crack-house infested neighborhood filled with people living on welfare and Government entitlements that you always wear a fireproof suit.

That way you will never get burned–and everyone else in the complex will be safe too because they will all have to wear them 24/7.  Or… and really this is my best idea…

3.  ELECTION RESULTS CONDOMS

This would take some serious engineering.. but…

Since it is possible that the mind-numbed liberals in our Country may actually elect a radical left-wing socialist whose wife hates the very Country she wants to assist in leading, we need election condoms.  They would have to be big.  Big enough to protect us all from the “punishment” of making a HUGE mistake.  That way, 6 months after he takes office and starts trying to raise capital gains taxes, explode government spending and entitlements, tax the “rich,” and flub his first 10 foreign crises, then we can “whip out” the election condom and protect ourselves from the remaining 3 1/2 years.

Obama–maybe you are on to something here… (wake up America!)

Obama’s Mystique Not Dead Yet!

March 5, 2008

Tonight I found myself living through a voluntary nightmare.  You know, like when you eat a health bar because its good for you.  Normally in life you would never consider sticking something in your mouth that tasted like a cross between gravel and rodent droppings, but you do it because its “healthy.”  Or when you sit through a 4 hour dance recital because your daughter has a 5 minute part in the dance that is demonically scheduled 2nd to last on the program.  (I digress)

Yes, tonight I found myself cheering on (I can barely even type it)-Hillary Clinton!

She kind of looks like my fourth grade teacher here–Sister Theresa–yeesh!

I know, I may have to change the name of this blog now-dadgumit.

But I must confess, after studying the “platforms” of both democrats, I am much more fearful of a Barack Hussein Obama Presidency than a Hillary Clinton Co-Presidency.  At least with Hillary there will be scandals to keep Congress occupied and then maybe they won’t have time to raise our taxes.

But, the “magic” is not over–Barack stated a few minutes ago that he would still have the same number of delegates more than Hillary regardless of the outcome of Texas.  (sounds like fuzzy math to me)

So, I continue to be worried–not enough to do something crazy like vote in the Democrate primary just to vote against him–no, no.  I tried to walk into the Democratic side of the primary and my skin began to melt so I quickly retreated.  But we must all worry–Barack-who has no experience, no real knowledge of foreign policy and no muscles (literally) has some really far out ideas.  Well, he really isn’t that liberal, I mean after all he only has the following stands on issues:

1.  He voted against a ban on partial birth abortions–so he is okay with killing babies–seems progressive.

2. He voted “NO” on forcing minors to inform parents before obtaining out-of-state abortions.–I mean really, 15 year old pregnant girls are very discerning–they don’t need any guidance.

3. He wants to regulate financial instruments to protect home mortgages.  After all when someone buys a home they can’t afford-they shouldn’t have to lose it to foreclosure–the rich can bail them out because they already have a big house.

4. He equates the gay rights movement to the civil rights movement.  “I have a dream, where people are not judged by the color of their skin or the gender of their sexual partner….”

5.  He smoked and inhaled in high school and college.  That experience only enhances his magic power.

6. Katrina Contracts should go to locals, not Halliburton.  That’s right-because New Orleans contractors are awesome–just look at the great job they did building that levy.

7. We must Reduce Obesity.  Well that’s easy for him to say–he weighs like 80 lbs.

8.  Minorities need more health care coverage.  Because they get sicker?  What the Crud is he talking about here?

9.  Tax cuts for the rich do not create jobs.  Maybe not–but overtaxing them does cause layoffs–but then he wouldn’t know about that–because he IS rich.

If you would like to see a full list of his beliefs–check it out at http://www.ontheissues.org/senate/Barack_Obama.htm

As of now–this site is officially a full blooded, hard working, no nonsense-McCain for President site–he is the best democrat running.

Roe v. Wade 35th Anniversary-37 Million People Cannot Attend the Party

January 22, 2008

Today marks the 35th Anniversary of Roe v. Wade, and it is estimated that over 37 million babies have been aborted since 1973 in the United States.  To put that in perspective, if you wiped the total population of New York City, Chicago and Los Angeles off the map–that would still be a few hundred thousand short of 37 million.

There are news stories all over the web today about this–and some sites are having a party.  The National Organization of Women says on their webpage that “continued vigilance is necessary.”  In fact, the President has this to say: “This year we have the chance to elect a new administration and send new members to Congress who will help protect and expand our reproductive freedom. Come November we must elect a president who will be vigilant in upholding a woman’s right to make her own childbearing decisions, including access to birth control and abortion,” said NOW President Kim Gandy.

I thought I would include her picture here:

You see, her picture can appear on this site because her mother did not choose to have her expelled from her womb before she was ready in an intentional act of killing her.  Lucky Kim.

I like the new terms the pro-death crowd is using–“reproductive freedom” and “reproductive justice.”  You see, “freedom” and “justice” are so valuable to us here in America.  Throughout our history men and women have died to preserve the precious nature of “freedom” and “justice.”  But the unborn child–his/her “freedom” and “justice” are in the hands of another.  The unborn child, with no voice, no podium, no blog to write on has to rely on one person to protect his/her “freedom” and “justice.”  That person is his/her mother.  And who better?  For only a mother will love, care and protect a child more than anyone else in the world.  Only a mother understands the pain and joy her child experiences.  A mother would be the first to give her life for her child if called upon to do so.  And yet… Ms. Gandy calls upon mothers to be “vigilant” in her right to end the life of her unborn child.

“Vigilant” is a great word. It means to be keenly watchful to detect danger or to be wary.  You only have to add a small “e” to the end of this word and you get “vigilante.”  A “Vigilante” is any person who takes the law into his or her own hands.  In its adjective form it means “done violently and summarily, without recource to lawful procedures.”

I think that since the “pro-choice” crowd has come up with new terms–to be fair “pro-lifers” ought to do the same.  So let’s call them what they really are:  “Reproductive Vigilantes.”

The definition of “Reproductive Vigilantes” therefore would be one who, without recourse to the rights and freedoms of the unborn, decides summarily and violently to end the life of that unborn child.”

Now with my new PC term in hand, let’s discuss the beautiful State of Vermont.  Today an article hailing the Anniversary of Roe appeared.  In that article we have the following quote:  “For a generation of women and men born after Roe, it is incumbent upon us to remember that the right to make personal childbearing decisions has enable women to pursue educational and employment opportunities that were often unthinkable before Roe,” said Rep. Rachel Weston, D-Burlington.

Here is Rachel’s picture–lucky for her, her mom chose to not end her life before her voice could be heard in the Vermont Legislature.  Lucky for her, her mother was not a Reproductive Vigilante.

But I suppose I’m being too harsh, after all, a very famous world leader expressed his pro-choice view when he said, ” in view of the large families of native population, it could only suit us if girls and women there had as many abortions as possible.”  Who was that famous person?  Well, lucky for him I can show his picture too:

Today of all days, we need to get on our knees and beg forgiveness that we have allowed this Country to end the lives of 37 million people (more than Hitler, more than Stalin) out of convenience and in the fraudulent names of “freedom” and “Justice” and “Equality.”  To use such words in this context is a bullet to the head of the men and women who have fought for such rights only to see the U.S. strip those rights away from the most innocent among us.  This is not a day to celebrate but rather a day to mourn.  It is the anniversary of the death of numerous generations of children and grandchildren and furture scientists, doctors, lawyers, teachers and yes, directors of non-profit organizations and state legislators.

So I would ask us all to focus on those below, those who were fortunate enough to have loving moms instead of Reproductive Vigilantes:

God Bless every Mom who no matter what the cost, no matter the inconvenience, no matter their age, no matter their economic status, realized that life is precious and that the life of the unborn child growing inside them was more precious than their reputation, their social status, their economic status and their personal selfish plans for the future.  Thank you for choosing LIFE over SELF.

Time To Tax The Babies–Put Down That Rattle and Pay Up!

December 11, 2007

Thank heaven for Australia.  Without that little island we would be without so much.  Here are some little known facts about Austrailia.  In 1856 they were the first place in the world to have secret ballot elections.  In 1894 they were the first place in the world to give women the right to vote.  They are the only country to attend every modern Olympic games.  They inveted the bionic ear, flexible wine casks, boomerangs, the Notepad, the electric drill, postage stamps, the first “bathing beauty contest” (in 1920), the automatic letter sorting maching, the two stroke lawn mower and best of all…Latex gloves.

And now, at the forefront of modern history, on the edge of innovation and ingenuity, they have come up with a brilliant idea to help achieve Al Gore’s vision of the World.  A World where we don’t burn fuel, or exhale or burp or use hairspray or freon or any other modern convenience.   The Australians have decided to tax babies to save our planet.  Yes, that’s right–babies–those little mooching, slobbering, dependent, whiny piles of human fat barely formed into a recognizable human–babies.

The article above states that couples with more than 2 children “should be charged a lifelong tax to offset their extra offspring’s carbon dioxide emissions”  according to a medical expert.  The report in an Austrailian medical journal (yes a MEDICAL journal) says that parents should be “charged $5000 a head for every child after their second AND an annual tax of up to $800.”

Here at Murphy’s Conservative Blog we have found an exclusive picture of the doctor who authored this article:

Here he is preparing the altar of healing for a poor woman who believes she is the virgin Mary.  The potion will help extract the baby blue blanket from her body and reveal that she is in fact not the virgin Mary but instead is:

gyrrjdcao272bccadrlwpgcaszbmzrca0kxdtocax81ud2ca0wssjyca5hblbzca6q0al3caqhldsrcaw4qxg3ca6n5lvmcaqs1wybcae2kvv5ca82hbr9cao1ideacam8v52rcaqne0gmcawjmqyucailjy42.jpeg Jennifer Love-Hewitt.

In any event, the good doctor continues and states that “couple who were sterilized would be eligible for carbon credits.”  Which is a nice bonus to the old snip-snip don’t you think.  I recently used my carbon credits to purchase a giant poster of a windbag:

It is hanging in my room with ticky-tack made of carbon fuel emissions.  I’m soooo doing my part.

An Austrialian obstetrician named Barry Walters said that “Every family choosing to have more than a defined number of children should be charged a carbon tax that would fund the planting of enough trees to offset the carbon cost generated by a new human being.”

He is so right–for example, when my third child was born I noticed that he used up 8-10 diapers a day in the first month.  Each time filing it with a mixture of substances that smelled a little like death on a stick.  I felt so bad about putting those bags of filth outside that I paid my neighbor some money as a way of seeking forgiveness for the extra carbon load.  Oddly though, the tree next to the trash can grew 3 feet that month.  Hmmmmm….

“As citizens of the world, I believe we deserve no more population concessions than those in India or China.”  says Professor Walters.    Good take Prof–in China there is rampant forced abortion and infanticide.  So I guess that is what would be considered a “population concession.”

Garry Eggers, director of the NSW Centre for Health Promotion and Research, agreed with the call, saying former treasurer Peter Costello’s request for three children per family – “one for mum, one for dad and one for the country” – was too single-minded.   He thinks this debate should be “reopened as part of a second ecological revolution.”  I missed the first–dang it–sequels are never any good when you miss the original.

I have 3 kids so I guess I’d be subject to this tax if I was there.  But really this is a sexist move on the part of Austrailia–everyone knows that boys emit WAY more carbon than girls so it is not fair for girls to be assessed the same tax.  Although, girls do spend a lot more on personal grooming devices and creams etc… that may impact the environment.

Since I was suspicious of this article I thought it best to find the other authors and see why they might be so biased.

Here is Gary Eggers:

19.jpeg  He has spent 29 years with Gearhart Chevrolet.  Founded by Frank C. Gearhart in 1929, Gearhart is one of America’s longest-established dealerships.  It is located in Denville, New Jersey.   I find it odd that a car dealer from Jersey would also be the director of the NSW Centre for Health Promotion and Research–but I’m betting the real Garry Eggers is as qualified as this fine man here to handle such a post.

Since this is likely NOT the actual Garry Eggers from Austrailia I kept looking…Finally I found him–it was hard because he is kind of camera shy but here he is the Director himself:

He was quoted as saying, “Two babies is plenty, it is impossible to imagine someone having 3 babies, each worthy of citizenship in Austrailia.  After all, we invented the boomerrang!”

-Let me make a suggestion–I’ll give each contributor to the article cited above $5000 if they turn in their respective licenses and shut up for the rest of their natural lives.  That should reduce carbon emissions so much that every tree in Austrailia will die.
