Diplomacy-The Art of Being An International Idiot

“If I sit down with the leader of Iran, I will send him a strong message that Israel is our friend, that we will assist in their security and that we don’t find nuclear weapons acceptable…. That’s not going to be a propaganda coup for the president of Iran.”
Barack Obama-CNN/YouTube debate, July 23, 2007.
Well, Diplomacy always sounds so nice doesn’t it. After all, unless you live in Texas like I do, going out and opening up a 6 pack of whup-butt on someone sounds so barbaric and juvenille. It is the more educated and refined way of living when you sit down with your adversary and try and talk it out.
What our President has been trying to tell us since the campaign is that we need other Countries to like the U.S. Maybe that is right, but some countries simply will not like us. No amount of sitting down to say “no, no” is going to work. Am I suggesting we need to go into every country, guns a-blazin’? Of course not, but part of being a refined educated man like our President is not being a super giant idiot.
Here is a news flash to the President and to the USS John McCain:
NORTH KOREA HATES US!

Here are some of their propaganda posters, in case you are still not convinced:

“Death to US Imperialists! Our sworn enemy!

“When provoking a war of aggression, we will hit back, starting with the US!

“Though the dog barks, the procession moves on!”
(and you know what North Korea thinks of dogs.)
So, Mr. President, I know you are really busy trying to socialize every aspect of our lives and place it under governmental control. But take a moment from your busy schedule of facist activity and learn a lesson on how to deal with bullies from a master:
-Man do I miss him!
-Murphy

Jessica you are sweet to ask–I’m frankly not sure how that would work. I’ll check into it but for now–just keep checking–I “try” to post 2-3 times a week but it ends up being about 2 times a week with the crazy schedule I’m keeping. Thanks for stopping by!
